WHY SHOULD I USE HANDMADE SOAP?

Glycerin is a natural byproduct of hand made soap. Glycerin is a humectant, which means that it attracts water. The natural glycerin produced in soap making seals in moisture and helps maintain the skin's water balance. Commercial soaps have the glycerin removed and replaced with synthetic chemicals, which can be harsh on the skin.

WHAT IS THE SHELF LIFE OF YOUR SOAP?

Because our soaps are made with all vegetable oils and no preservatives, it is best used within 1 year of purchase.

DO YOU HAVE A BRICK AND MORTAR STORE?

​

No we do not have a store location, however if you are local to Maryland you can find a list of stores that carry our products here.

WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

​

Due to the nature of personal care products we cannot accept returns. We offer our soaps, shampoo bars, and many other products in sample or trial sizes so feel free to try them out before purchasing full sizes.

WILL MY BODY BUTTER MELT IN WARM WEATHER?

​

Body butter will melt between 85 - 90 degrees. If you order it during the summer, it can melt in transit and the consistency will be that of our lotion bar. It will no longer be whipped but will still be a great moisturizer. We recommenend ordering our luxurious solid lotion bar as an excellent replacement for body butter in the summer months.

WILL NATURALLY SILKY SOAP HEAL MY ECZEMA, PSORIASIS OR IRRITATED SKIN?

Many times skin issues are a result of chemicals used in products. Simply switching to a natual alternaltive will help relieve these conditions. Our products do not contain irritants but will provide soothing relief for various skin conditions.

IS YOUR PALM OIL SUSTAINABLY SOURCED?

​

We obtain our palm oil from a supplier that is a part of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.

WHY DOES MY SOAP HAVE A DIFFERENT COLOR FROM THE PICTURE?

​

We do not use artificial colors but instead use natural herbs and clays to color our soaps. Natural colors can fade over time as the soap cures but will not affect the quality of the soap.

WHY DO YOU USE BEESWAX?

​

We use beeswax in some of our body products, not in our soap. Beeswax is a natural hydrating ingredient that increases essential moisture in the skin. It's anti-inflammatory properties soothe irritated skin. If you are vegan, we do offer deodorant and lip balm that are made with a plant wax.

IS YOUR SOAP MADE FROM SCRATCH?

Our soap is made in small batches with natural oils and butters, not from a pre-made soap base which sometimes contain chemicals.
